The Counselor Connection program is the heart of Restore Joy's mission. By partnering with licensed mental health professionals throughout the Hunt County area, we're able to provide quality care to individuals who cannot afford traditional mental health services.
What is Counselor Connection?
Counselor Connection is a network program that connects licensed clinicians with clients who need mental health services but lack the financial resources to access them. Through this program, we:
- Create a directory of qualified mental health professionals committed to serving underserved populations
- Match clients with appropriate counselors based on their needs and preferences
- Provide financial support to help cover the cost of therapy sessions
- Facilitate communication between clients, counselors, and our organization
- Support continuity of care for clients who already have established therapeutic relationships

Who Can Join?
We welcome licensed mental health professionals, including:
- Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC, LPC-S)
- Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT)
- Psychologists (PhD, PsyD)
- Psychiatrists (MD, DO)
- Other licensed mental health professionals
How It Works
- Complete the Partner Form: Fill out our counselor partnership form (link below)
- Review & Verification: We'll review your application and verify your credentials
- Partnership Agreement: We'll discuss the partnership details and answer any questions
- Join the Network: Once approved, you'll be added to our Counselor Connection directory
- Client Matching: We'll contact you when we have a client who matches your expertise and availability
- Provide Care: Deliver quality mental health services to referred clients
